пол. система с доминирующей партией (характеристика не политической системы, а фактического распределения сил: одна партия уверенно побеждает на выборах или контролирует коалиционные правительства; примерами являются Мексика с 1920-х по 2000 г., Великобритания в 1980-е гг., Япония после 1950-х и др.; особенностью такой системы является то, что оппозиция к правящей партии активизируется не в лице других партий, а внутри самой партии и часто приводит к появлению фракций и раздробления партии)
